1. General warranty conditions:

Duration of the warranty:
This manufacturer's warranty is valid for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase of the Matzbox and is limited to the original purchaser. Please retain your proof of purchase as this is required for warranty claims.

Defects covered:
This warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship of the Matzbox that occur under normal use. This includes structural defects or malfunctions that affect the normal use of the Matzbox. Should a component fail due to such a defect, we will offer, at our option, a free repair, replacement of the defective part, or replacement of the entire Matzbox.

Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, negligence, modifications, unauthorized repairs, improper storage, improper transportation, or extreme environmental conditions (e.g. excessive moisture and heat). Scrapes, dents, scratches and general signs of wear and tear caused by normal use are also excluded from the guarantee.

Shipping costs:
In the event of a guarantee claim, the customer will bear the costs of shipping the defective Matzbox or the affected parts to us, unless it can be proven that there is a manufacturing defect. In this case, we will refund the shipping costs. We will cover the costs of returning the repaired or replaced product.

Spare parts:
If a specific component is no longer available, we reserve the right to replace it with an equivalent part. The colour or design may vary slightly.

Transfer of guarantee:
This guarantee is not transferable and only applies to the original purchaser who purchased the Matzbox directly from us or from an authorised dealer. The guarantee expires if the product is resold.

Scope of the guarantee:
This manufacturer's guarantee is valid in Germany and Austria. Customers who purchase or use the product outside of these countries should contact us in advance to confirm the validity of the guarantee in their country.

Exclusion of other claims:
This manufacturer's guarantee offers you additional rights that supplement, but do not limit, your statutory warranty claims. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

2. Warranty services:

Repair or replacement:
In the event of a defect being identified, we will offer to repair or replace the defective part or the entire Matzbox at our discretion. If you replace the product or part of it, you will receive an equivalent product or replacement part. The color or design may vary, provided that functionality is not affected.

Duration of the extended warranty:
A claim under the warranty does not extend the original warranty period. The 20-year warranty applies from the original date of purchase, regardless of repairs or replacements.

Warranty claim:
To make a warranty claim, you must provide the original purchase receipt and a detailed description of the defect. Photos of the defect from different perspectives may be required and will help us process your claim more quickly.

3. Procedure for warranty claims:

Reporting a warranty claim:
Contact us using the contact form, our email info@matzbox.com or by phone at +49 6131 4879810. Please provide your order number, the date of purchase, relevant photos and a detailed description of the defect.

Shipping:
After examining the warranty claim, we will provide you with a shipping address. The customer will bear the shipping costs for sending the product to us.

Repair/replacement:
After the product has been received and checked, the repair or replacement will be carried out as quickly as possible. We will cover the shipping costs for returning the product to you.

Rejection of the warranty claim:
If the defect does not fall under the warranty conditions, we will inform you of this. In this case, we offer you the option of a paid repair or return of the product at your expense.
