1. general guarantee conditions:

Warranty duration:
This manufacturer's warranty is valid for a period of 20 years from the date of purchase of the Matzbox and is limited to the original purchaser. Please keep your proof of purchase as it is required for the warranty claim.

Covered defects:
This warranty covers all material and manufacturing defects of the Matzbox that occur during normal use. This includes structural defects or malfunctions that affect the normal use of the Matzbox. If a component is defective due to such a fault, we will offer, at our discretion, a free repair, replacement of the defective part or replacement of the entire Matzbox.

Exclusions:
The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, negligence, modifications, unauthorized repairs, improper storage, improper transportation or extreme environmental conditions (e.g. excessive moisture and heat). Scuffs, dents, scratches and general signs of wear and tear caused by normal use are also excluded from the warranty.

Shipping costs:
In the event of a warranty claim, the customer shall bear the costs for shipping the defective Matzbox or the affected parts to us, unless it can be proven that it is a manufacturing defect. In this case, we will reimburse the shipping costs. We will cover the cost of returning the repaired or replaced product.

Spare parts:
If a specific component is no longer available, we reserve the right to replace it with an equivalent part. The color or design may vary slightly.

Warranty transfer:
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser who purchased the Matzbox directly from us or from an authorized dealer. The warranty expires if the product is resold.

Scope of the warranty:
This manufacturer's warranty is valid in Germany and Austria. Customers who purchase or use the product outside these countries should contact us in advance to confirm the validity of the warranty in their country.

Exclusion of other claims:
This manufacturer's warranty offers you additional rights that supplement, but do not limit, your statutory warranty claims. Your statutory rights as a consumer remain unaffected.

Repair or replacement:
In the event of an identified defect, we offer to repair or replace the defective part or the entire Matzbox at our own discretion. If the product or part of it is replaced, you will receive an equivalent product or spare part. The color or design may vary as long as the functionality is not impaired.

Duration of the extended warranty:
A claim under the warranty does not extend the original warranty period. The 20-year warranty is valid from the original date of purchase, regardless of repairs or replacements.

Warrantyclaim:
To make a warranty claim, you must provide the original proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect. Photos of the defect from different angles may be required and will help us to process your claim more quickly.

3. procedure for warranty claims:

Reporting a warranty claim:
Contact us via the contact form, our e-mail info@matzbox.com or by telephone on +49 6131 4879810, stating your order number, the date of purchase, meaningful photos and a detailed description of the defect.

Shipping:
After checking the warranty case, we will provide you with a shipping address. The customer bears the shipping costs for sending the product to us.

Repair/replacement:
After receipt and inspection of the product, the repair or replacement will be carried out as quickly as possible. We will bear the shipping costs for returning the product to you.

Rejection of the warranty claim:
If the defect is not covered by the warranty conditions, we will inform you of this. In this case, we will offer you the option of a chargeable repair or return shipment of the product at your expense.
